Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Picsawa ("we", "us") collects when you use https://picsawa.com (the "Site") and how it is used.
1. Your images and files
Your files are processed on your device and never uploaded. All image processing (compressing, resizing, cropping, rotating and converting) happens locally inside your web browser. The images you select, and the results produced, are never transmitted to our servers or to any third party, and we cannot see them.
The DV Lottery photo tools, Background Remover, Straighten Photo, Remove Shadow and AI Image Upscaler use machine-learning models (face detection, image segmentation and super-resolution) that are downloaded to your browser and run on your device. Face measurements and cut-out masks are used only on the page; they are never stored or sent anywhere.
Processed images exist only in your browser's memory until you close or reload the page. Converted images are created without the original's metadata (such as EXIF camera details and GPS location).
2. Information collected automatically
Like virtually every website, our hosting and content delivery provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data needed to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This data is used for security and operations and is retained according to the provider's policies. We do not use it to identify you.
3. Cookies and advertising
The tools themselves do not require cookies. The Site may display advertising provided by third parties, including Google AdSense. These providers may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to show ads and measure their performance:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), we ask for your consent before personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time.
4. Information you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use them only to reply to you and do not share them, except where required by law.
5. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, or to object to certain processing. Because we do not store your images or keep user accounts, we usually hold no personal information about you. To make a request, contact us at [email protected].
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last changed.
