    About the Circle Crop tool

The largest centered square is cut from your photo and masked to a smooth circle. If your face is not centered, crop the photo first with the Crop tool using the 1:1 preset.

The result is a PNG with a transparent background, so it looks right on any color. Most social networks also apply their own circle, so the transparent version works everywhere.

    Frequently asked questions

My face is cut off. What can I do?

Crop the photo to a square around your face first with the Crop tool (1:1 preset), then use Circle Crop.

Can I add a ring around the circle?

Yes. Set a border width and color to get a ring.

    Why PNG?

PNG keeps the area outside the circle transparent. JPG would fill it with a color.

    Is my photo uploaded?

No. Everything runs on your device.
