      How to make a sticker with Amharic text

      1. Add a photo; the person or object is cut out automatically.
      2. Open Text, pick a greeting or type your own in Amharic, choose a font, color and outline, and drag it into place.
      3. Save for WhatsApp or Telegram, or add it to a pack with more stickers.

      How to add your stickers to WhatsApp and Telegram

      A website can’t put stickers into an app for you. These are the official ways each app offers. Menu names can differ slightly between app versions.

      WhatsApp (Android, iPhone, Web)

      1. Download your sticker and keep it on your phone or computer. If your gallery doesn’t show WebP files, download the “Transparent PNG” version.
      2. Open a chat and tap the sticker button next to the message box.
      3. Tap Create (the sticker maker that is built into WhatsApp) and choose your sticker image.
      4. Adjust it if you like and send it. WhatsApp saves it in your sticker tray so you can use it again.

      Whole packs can only be added to WhatsApp by a separate sticker app from Google Play or the App Store. The pack ZIP here follows WhatsApp’s format (3–30 stickers, 512×512 WebP up to 100 KB, 96×96 tray icon) for people who build one. We don’t recommend any unofficial apps.

      Telegram

      One sticker, in the app:

      1. Open the sticker panel from the message box in any chat.
      2. Tap + to open Telegram’s sticker maker and choose your sticker image.

      A whole pack, with the official @Stickers bot:

      1. Open @Stickers in Telegram and start a new pack (/newpack, or use its mini app). Give it a title.
      2. Send each sticker PNG or WebP from the ZIP as a file, then send an emoji for it.
      3. Publish the pack (/publish). Send the 100×100 icon from the ZIP when asked, choose a short link name, and share the link.

      About the Amharic Sticker Maker tool

      Amharic text uses Noto Sans Ethiopic, Menbere or Abyssinica SIL, all open-licensed fonts that show every Ethiopic letter correctly. English fonts such as Fredoka, Bangers and Pacifico fall back to Noto for any Amharic letters.

      Greetings for Meskel, Enkutatash (New Year), Genna, Timket, Fasika, Eid, birthdays, congratulations and thanks are ready in Amharic and English, and you can edit every word.

      The interface can switch to Amharic. Text can curve, sit in a speech bubble, and gets its own outline so it reads well on any chat background.

      Which Amharic fonts can I use?

      Noto Sans Ethiopic, Menbere and Abyssinica SIL. They are loaded only when you add text, and they are free fonts under the SIL Open Font License.

      Are my photos uploaded to make stickers?

      No. The cut-out, outline, text and file encoding all run in your browser. Your photos never leave your phone or computer.

      Can this website add stickers straight into WhatsApp?

      No website can do that. Use WhatsApp’s built-in sticker maker: open the sticker panel in a chat, tap Create and pick the sticker you downloaded. Whole packs can only be added by a separate sticker app from Google Play or the App Store.

      What size is a WhatsApp sticker?
